Why I Care So Much About Systems (and Helping You)
When I first started as a photographer, I kept everything on a whiteboard calendar and relied on word of mouth. It worked... almost too well. My business grew fast, and before I knew it, I was running around with no structure, no boundaries, and no real plan.
Clients dictated the schedule.
Every request felt urgent.
I said yes to everything.
I drove everywhere.
My pricing made no sense.
And my “systems” were random notes and late-night editing marathons.
I made good money but I was exhausted, stressed, and constantly behind. My family felt it. I felt it. And the guilt was just as heavy as the workload.
I started listening to podcasts, reading, learning, and I rebuilt everything. I created structure where there was none. I set rules. I learned to protect my energy, my time, and the business I was working so hard to build.
